Filling Assistant

The Filling Assistant supports the driver with the action of filling tire pressure to the correct pressure using visuals (i.e. flashing lights or smartphone app) and/or audio feedback (horn) from the vehicle. It provides a simple, easy and positive support for filling up and measuring pressure in each tire.

Our electronic-Tire information System (eTIS) is a revolution for advanced tire information and cutting-edge performance. Integrated directly into the tires, eTIS will be capable of providing unprecedented functions such as individual tire load, tread depth, winter/summer type and speed limit data storage.

Continental’s Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) measures the pressure and temperature inside the tire and transmits this information via RF frequency along with the vehicle communication network to a display in the cluster. Thus it provides accurate and timely information to the driver about the status of the tires (e.g. tire pressure & temperature for each wheel position). Continental can offer unique, innovative add-on TPMS features, such as advanced ‘problem tire’ localization functions (LocSync and LocaPASE) and ultraconvenient Smartphone Apps such as Filling Assistant, in order to enhance TPMS usability and benefits for the end-user.
